Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. These are the four shapes my work usually takes.
-
Accessibility program build-out
For companies with no real accessibility capability, or one that stalled. I build the practice: standards, design and engineering process, tooling, training, and the ownership model that keeps it alive after I leave. I've designed a program from scratch, made accessibility a company pillar through a product transformation, and scaled a program across 7,500 sites. I also know what happens when a practice doesn't outlive the person who built it - that lesson is built into how I hand over.
-
Accessibility audit and remediation guidance
WCAG 2.2 AA reviews of sites, apps, and design systems. Every audit is tested with JAWS, NVDA, and ZoomText - real assistive technology, not just scanners - alongside Deque axe, WAVE, ANDI, Siteimprove, and Stark. Findings come prioritized and written for the people who'll fix them, not for a compliance binder.
-
AI-assisted accessibility and compliance
Where generative AI genuinely accelerates accessibility work - alt text drafts, test generation, issue triage, documentation - and where it produces confident garbage. I build AI-assisted workflows with the verification step built in. This is the fastest-moving part of my practice.
-
UX strategy and product ownership
Accessibility embedded in product decisions from the start. I've served as product owner on a live platform and led UX strategy for a relaunch and international expansion. Available for fractional product ownership and UX strategy engagements.
How engagements work
Contract and retainer engagements through Inclusive Design LLC. Fractional is welcome - a practice doesn't need me full-time once it's running. Remote-first, based in Dallas.
